Art for Pashaei is not limited to beautiful images bound in a frame.  For him, art is something alive, capturing the essence of life and vitality.  From this philosophy, he adapts the two-dimensional and renders them in 3D form. Artistry does not stop there.  Pashaei then arranges the three-dimensional art piece with motion and movement.  Seen with his mixed-media arrangement of wooden beads, he gives life and mobility to the pieces, of which his rendition of the Mona Lisa stands most famous.  In 2016 Pashaei created over 100 portraits in motion for his exhibition, "100 Celebrities of Iranian Cinema and Theatre", Ariana Art Gallery, Tehran, Iran.
